Covering an extensive 18.6 hectares, LM26, funded through direct investment sources, is equipped to handle the transfer, loading, and unloading of containers carrying construction materials, coal, and agricultural products like rice, corn, cassava, rubber, and pepper.

Minister Peng Po emphasized the collaborative efforts between the Ministry of Public Works and Transport and the Ministry of Economy and Finance in formulating a comprehensive master plan and development framework. This framework aims to elevate river port business management and integrate water transport networks, connecting rivers with sea routes and establishing priority business centers for port operations.

Under the coordination of the Council for the Development of Cambodia, the Ministry of Public Works and Transport actively engages in studying and planning the Port Development Master and Logistics Centre in Sihanoukville. These initiatives collectively propel Cambodia’s port sector towards unparalleled development, cementing its position as a regional leader in maritime connectivity.
