Two Investment Projects Worth US$22 Million for Sihanoukville & Takeo

The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has given permits to private firms to invest over US$22 million, setting up two factories in Sihanoukville and Takeo.

According to the CDC’s announcement on 14 January, the two firms include:

YH FINE MATERIALS CO., LTD to establish a micro silica & silica powder factory in Prek Pros Village, Teuk Thla Commune, Prey Nob District, Sihanoukville, with investment capital of US$18.6 million.

MASTERY (MFG) CO., LTD to establish a garment factory located in Tadu Village, Sangkat Rokar Krao, Daun Keo City, Takeo Province with investment capital of US$3.5 million.

The above two projects are expected to create over 750 jobs for Cambodians.

In the same period, CDC also approved other nine projects worth over US$43 million for Phnom Penh, Kandal, Sihanoukville, and Kampong Speu. (Read more)
