Four Investment Projects Worth US$23.9m Approved for Sihanoukville & Svay Rieng Provinces

The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has given permits to four private companies to invest a total of US$23.9 million to establish four factories in Sihanoukville and Svay Rieng province.

The first firm is HOME STYLE LIVING CO., LTD, which will invest US$6.6 million to establish a furniture and mattress factory in Sin Bavet Special Economic Zone, Svay Rieng province.

The second firm is MCL HANDBAG FACTORY (CAMBODIA) COMPANY LIMITED, which will invest US$6.5 million to establish a bag factory in the SSEZ, Sihanoukville.

The third firm is GREEN LINK ELECTRIC CO., LT, which will invest US$5.5 million to establish a factory located in the investment zone in High Park Special Economic Zone, Svay Rieng province.

The fourth firm is RAINBOW LIGHTING CO., LTD, which will invest US$5.3​ million to establish a lamp production factory in Hai Pak Special Economic Zone, Svay Rieng province.

According to the CDC, the four new projects will create 2,900 jobs for the people.
