Framework Agreement for PP-SR Expressway to be Signed in September

The framework agreement for the Phnom Penh-Siem Reap Expressway project is expected to be signed in September 2023  as the Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT) urges private firms to accelerate the study. 

The MPWT minister said during a press conference on 15 February that the government has been pushing responsible firms to complete the study as soon as possible so that the agreement can be signed as planned. 

Currently, four companies have been studying the feasibility of building an expressway from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. (Read more)

Meanwhile, the construction of the Phnom Penh-Bavet Expressway is set to begin in June 2023. (Read more)
