GOV’t Greenlights Lucrative Investment Projects Worth US$15.4 Million, Propelling Economic Prosperity

The Investment Committee of Cambodia of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), has enthusiastically approved three remarkable investment projects, collectively valued at an astounding US$15.4 million. This resounding endorsement sets the stage for the establishment of thriving factories in key provinces, propelling economic growth and bolstering the nation’s development, as confirmed by the CDC on 29th May 2023.

The first project, “BOLITO GARMENT CO., LTD,” will channel an investment of US$5.2 million to establish a state-of-the-art garment factory, strategically located on Lum Road in Mlou Men Village, Phsar Dek Commune, Ponhea Leu District, Kandal Province.

The second venture, “XIN LI AN SHOES CO., LTD,” will inject US$5.1 million into a cutting-edge shoe accessories factory, set to flourish in Kob Ambel Village, Sangkat Kambol, Khan Kambol, Phnom Penh.

The third pioneering endeavor, “NEW HM KNITTING CLOTHING (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD,” will infuse US$5.1 million into a high-performance garment factory, poised for success in Keo Udom Village, Trapeang Kong Commune, Samrong Tong District, Kampong Speu Province.

Emphasizing the significance of these investments, the CDC has projected the creation of an impressive 3,235 new employment opportunities for Cambodian citizens. This momentous achievement not only fuels economic growth but also contributes to the nation’s overall progress and prosperity.
