Japan provides over US$30 million to expand water supply system in Svay Rieng

Japan has granted Cambodia 3,986 million yen (US$ 30.6 million) to expand the water supply system in Svay Rieng province, according to the press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation on 24 February.

This assistance was provided through an exchange of letters signed by HE Ouch Borith, Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister and Permanent Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and HE Takeshen Seki, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.

The above exchange of letters is an amendment to the amount stated in the exchange of letters signed on 2 March.
