256 Mining Sites & Over 157 Operating in Kampong Speu

The Kampong Speu Provincial Administration has registered 256 mining sites with 157 businesses operating, according to a press conference on 9 February 2023. 

These businesses include 33 construction stone sites, 13 sandstone sites, seven sand sites, four sandstone sites, and three excavation sites. 

Kampong Speu province also has three quarry sites, eight sand mining sites, seven excavation sites, and 56 handicrafts sites. 

The province also has 20 dam rehabilitation sites and two major infrastructure projects.
