Koh Pich-Koh Norea Bridge Linked by End August, Ready for Grand Opening by November

The Koh Pich-Koh Norea Bridge, built by OCIC, is reaching its final phases of construction. The much-awaited link that will seamlessly unite the bustling hub of Koh Pich with the allure of Koh Norea is set to be physically connected by the end of August. The entire construction process is expected to culminate by October, paving the way for a momentous soft inauguration in early November.

In an exclusive conversation with the Construction & Property Magazine on 10 August, Mr. Touch Samnang, Deputy General Director of OCIC, shared the exciting progress of this landmark project. “We are currently in the final stages of construction, and the process to link the bridge is slated for later this month,”

Touch Samnang revealed. “Our plan is to have the construction fully wrapped up by the end of October. Following this, we will conduct comprehensive travel trials before the grand inauguration in November.”

Spanning the landscape of Sangkat Niroth in Khan Chbar Ampov, this stunning new bridge embodies not just connectivity but also architectural finesse. Carrying a price tag of US$38 million, the project stands as a testament to OCIC’s commitment to shaping Phnom Penh’s skyline under the esteemed aegis of the Phnom Penh Municipality. (Read more)
