Samdech Techo Hun Sen’s US$1.4 Million Gift: Koh Yor Bridge Officially Unveiled

With a budget of US$1.4 million, the inauguration of the Koh Yor Bridge, now known as the Samdech Techo Hun Sen Koh Yor Bridge, in Pak Klang commune, Mondul Seima district, Koh Kong province, took place in a momentous ceremony presided over by Samdech Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, on 8 January 2024.

The new bridge stands as a symbol of progress and a precious gift from Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen facilitated through HE Neak Okhna Ly Yong Phat, Senator, and Lok Chumteav. The inauguration marks a significant achievement for the residents of Pak Klang commune, enhancing connectivity and facilitating smoother traffic for both locals and tourists.

Designed to replace the deteriorating ballet bridge crossing the Koh Yor canal, the Samdech Techo Hun Sen Koh Yor Bridge spans 126 meters in length and 11 meters in width. Situated in Bak Klang commune, Mondul Seima district, Koh Kong province, the bridge was started in June 2022 and completed in June 2023, with a total investment of US$1.4 million. (Read more)
