In a significant development for the Kreung Indigenous Community, the Ratanakiri Provincial Administration has officially registered their land, affirming their collective ownership rights. The Department of Land Management, Urban Planning, Construction, and Cadastre announced the registration of the land plot number 098, which measures an impressive 15.9613 hectares, and the Land plot number 099, which measures an impressive 3.4890 hectares, Land plot number 100, which measures an impressive 0.4962 hectares, Land Plot number 101, which measures an impressive 7.9867 hectares, and Land plot number 102, which measures an impressive 3.5113 hectares situated in Khmeng Village, Poy Commune, O Chum District, Ratanakiri Province.

According to information sourced from the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning, and Construction, the registration emphasizes the importance of collective ownership in protecting the community’s land rights. The land will be managed by the head of the Kreung Indigenous Community, ensuring that its stewardship aligns with the cultural and social values of the local population.
