Ibis Styles Hotel to Open in Siem Reap This June

AccorHotels brand is set to open its mid-range Ibis Styles hotel in Siem Reap this June, according to the AccorHotels official website.

Located in the city centre, just minutes from the famous tourist spots such as the town’s old market, night market and pub street, Ibis Styles Siem Reap is the first ever Ibis Styles hotel in Cambodia. This trendily designed hotel will features 112 rooms along with other amenities such as an outdoor pool overlooking the river, restaurant and bar.

Ibis Styles Hotel is actually known as the most stylish economy hotel brand as it is all about creativity, good humour and fun.

“Every ibis Styles hotel has its own distinct personality and captures the local spirit of the location so it’s a very authentic brand for today’s budget-conscious traveller who doesn’t want to compromise on quality and design,” said Patrick Basset, Chief Operating Officer for AccorHotels Upper Southeast and Northeast Asia.

According Basset, the reason behind bringing this brand to Cambodia is to fill demand for more affordable accommodation, in addition to their existing luxury market hotels like Raffles and Sofitel both in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap.

Ibis Style Seim Reap is not the only hotel brought to Cambodia by AccorHotels Brand this year, two other Novotels are also set to open in Phnom Penh and Sihanuokville by this year as well.

“As Cambodia’s tourism industry develops, we see significant growth potential in this country as well. With this milestone of the debut of the ibis Styles brand, we have also signed management contracts for two Novotels to open in Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville,” said the General Manager Marc Dupuis.

AccorHotels is a French multinational hotel group that operates and franchises more than 4,200 hospitality properties across 95 countries around the world, and already operates four luxury hotels in Cambodia under the Raffles and Sofitel brands.
