LG Electronics, a renowned leader in technological innovation, has introduced its cutting-edge VRF Multi V i air conditioning system integrated with advanced AI technology, specifically designed for the Cambodian, Thai, and Lao markets. The grand unveiling took place on 23 June 2023 in Bangkok, marking a significant advancement in the field of cooling solutions.

The highly anticipated launch event witnessed the presence of esteemed executives from GGEAR Group, commemorating the collaborative efforts in bringing LG Electronics’ latest technological marvel to the Cambodian market. Leveraging intelligent technology, the system automatically shuts off when the room is unoccupied, resulting in energy savings of up to 24.7 per cent. Additionally, the system incorporates humidity and temperature control, while an integrated air purifier enhances indoor air quality.

“In a typical building, air conditioning consumes more than 50% of the total operating expense. However, LG’s latest AI air conditioner technology helps to reduce power consumption. On the other hand, it helps people to live comfortably because it has a humidity and temperature control system; in addition, it is also equipped with an air purifier in this system.” Huot Ratana said.

Innovative: The new LG Multi V i air conditioning system represents the pinnacle of Intelligent, Innovative, and Interactive design. With its intelligent functionality, the system detects human presence and adjusts settings accordingly, ensuring personalized comfort and energy efficiency. The innovative features include rust-resistant components capable of withstanding scorching temperatures of up to 52°C, reduced noise levels by 2.6 decibels, and a 12% power increase compared to previous models.

Interactive: The interactive aspect encompasses a low noise reduction function of up to 50 decibels, AI Smart Diagnosis for seamless maintenance, and a built-in black box storing up to six months’ worth of operational information.
