Long-Term Foreign Residents Get Free Visit to Angkor

The Angkor Enterprise has announced a new scheme allowing long-term foreign residents to apply for a visit to the Angkor and Koh Ker temples complex once a year, free of charge.

The scheme is to promote domestic tourism as well as provide incentives to foreigners staying in Cambodia.

“All foreigners who have been staying in the Kingdom of Cambodia – Diplomats, investors, international organizations, foreigners working in companies and private enterprises of all kinds, experts working in ministries, public and private institutions, as well as families –  for two years or more can apply for a pass to the Angkor and Koh Ker temples once a year, free of charge from 01 September 2022, onwards,” read the statement.

To apply for the visit all applicants must complete the online application form from 9 September 09, 2022. Applicants can also apply in person at Angkor Institution, with a copy of their passport and a copy of their residence permit, and a 4x6cm photo.
