Gov’t Opens Concession for 155ha of Land in Kampot for Mining Business

The Ministry of Mines and Energy has announced the opening of a 155-hectare mining concession in Kampot province’s Chhouk district.

According to an announcement by the ministry on 18 November, private companies can start applying for the concession from the announcement date onwards until 30 December 2022.

All national and international companies can apply for exploration at the OWSO of the Ministry of Mines and Energy.

In particular, the application must be made in a public competition to obtain an exploration license.

The new 155-hectare mining concession is located in Phnom Tvea Pram Bei and Phnom Chroy Kandol in Te Ken commune, Chhuk district, Kampot province.
