MOMO FARM Needs 10,000 Hectares of Land in Mondulkiri to Raise Dairy Cows

MOMO FARM needs approximately 10,000 hectares of land in Mondulkiri to raise dairy cows and its production process, according to a meeting between the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries HE Dith Tina and MOMO FARM on 18 January. 

The company intends to expand its business to meet the needs of the local fresh milk market, which is around 2,000 litres per day. 

The minister promised to facilitate the expansion of dairy production. 

Regarding the land for the production process, the minister stated that the ministry does not currently have a policy to provide land concessions to private companies. 

Alternatively, the minister recommended that the company look for private leasing from local landowners.
