Construction on New NR5 Flyover in Russey Keo to Start on 30 January

The groundbreaking ceremony for a new flyover along NR5 in the Russey Keo area will be held on Sunday 30 January presided over by PM Samdech Hun Sen.

The flyover is located at the intersection of NR5 and the Russey Keo-Chroy Changva Concrete Bridge in Kleang Sand village in Sangkat Russei Keo.

The flyover is built to help ease the traffic congestion along NR5 and the traffic from NR6 that flows over the bridge.

Meanwhile, construction of the concrete bridge across the Tonle Sap River from NR5 in Khan Russey Keo to NR6 in Khan Chroy Changvar is now 63.7% complete. (Read more)

Phnom Penh currently has five flyovers including Psar Dey Huy, Kbal Thnal, Stueng Mean Chey, 7 Makara, and 5 Makara.

The Chom Chao flyover is set to be completed in March, when the government also plans to break ground on another flyover in at Century Plaza Intersection. (Read more and more)
