Construction to Begin on New Large-Scale Hospital Complex in Koh Thom in January

Construction on the new Techo Sen Koh Thom Hospital building is set to begin in January 2022, according to the meeting of the construction committee and relevant officers from the Ministry of Public Works and Transport on 21 December.

The project includes the construction of three new buildings with a total area of over 12,500sqm. The buildings are interconnected with the central building having three floors and the two side-buildings having two floors.

This large-scale hospital complex can accommodate 150 beds and will be equipped with modern medical equipment.

The project will take 12 months to complete, scheduled for December 2022.

Secretary of State of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport HE Suong Heng said that the construction of this hospital is to meet the increase in demand for health services in the region.

Upon completion, the hospital will be able to serve people living in Saang district, Koh Thom district, and Leuk Dek district in Kandal province as well as Prey Kabas district in Takeo province.
