Construction of NR48 connecting Sre Ambel to Khemarak Phoumin 18% complete

The renovation of NR48 connecting the Sre Ambel intersection of NR4 to Koh Kong province’s downtown with a length of 148 km, has completed nearly 18%.

Koh Kong Governor HE Mithona Phu Thong said in the press conference on 21 February that NR48 is being upgraded to AC.

NR 48 is part of ASEAN Highway 123, which links Cambodia to Thailand and continues east into Myanmar to Dawei port on the Andaman sea.

Along this national road, there are 4 special economic zones, including Koh Kong SEZ, Suoy Chheng SEZ, Kirisakor Koh Kong SEZ, and Ratana SEZ as well as Kirisakor tourist areas.

Being built by the Korean company ILSUNG & HANIL Joint Venture and technically supervised by KCI & KECC Joint Venture, the NR48 project is scheduled to be completed in June 2024, (Read more)
