An 8km Win-Win Boulevard Ready for 32nd SEA Games 2023

The project to build over 8 km of Win-Win Boulevard, from the base of the Prek Pov bridge to the corner of National Road 6A, is nearing completion, with 95% of the project already accomplished. The National Television of Cambodia reported this on March 9, 2023.

This project is co-implemented by Phnom Penh Capital Hall and the Department of Public Works and Transport of Phnom Penh, and as of today has reached significant milestones, including the:

  • installation of box and round drain (100%),
  • organization of both sides of the roller (95%),
  • central garden work and planting grass and trees (95%),
  • repair of the concrete foundation (100%), and
  • AC 3 rubber stamping work (95%).

Moreover, over 300 street lighting poles have been installed, achieving 100% of the target, and drawing work has reached more than 65%.

The project aims to improve the transportation infrastructure and urban landscape of Phnom Penh ahead of the 32nd SEA Games 2023. With only a few months left before the games commence, the timely completion of the Win-Win Boulevard project will undoubtedly boost the city’s readiness for the upcoming international event.
