Phnom Penh Safari to Open at the End of April

The Phnom Penh Safari by L.Y.P Group has finally set an opening date of 29 April, where four animal shows are slated to be the highlight activities during the first opening.

Located on more than 80 hectares of land in Chrouy Changva district, Safari Phnom Penh will become the largest ever zoo of its kind in Phnom Penh and in Cambodia, with an investment value of about USD9 million.

Safari World Phnom Penh will have more than 800 animals including bears, ostriches, kangaroos, giraffes, tigers, dolphins, deer, and also a variety of animal-shows. However, at this stage, there will be four animal shows including a crocodile show, an orangutan show, a bird show, and a tiger show.

According Phnom Penh Safari staff, the entrance ticket price is USD10 for adult and USD5 for children*.

Beside this zoo, L.Y.P Group is also planning to invest about USD 30 million in building the Asean biggest water park in Cambodia named Angkor Water Park. However, the detail of the project has yet to reveal.
