According to the announcement, the PropertyGuru Property Awards Cambodia 2020 application has been open since 16 December 2019 and is scheduled to be closed on 27 March this year.

Meanwhile, the final result will be announced at the Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony, which will be held on 5 June at the Sofitel Phokeethra Hotel Phnom Penh, at which the winning developers will be selected to compete at the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards in Bangkok, Thailand.

The press conference was also attended by several local and international judges, including Jules Kay, Managing Director of PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards and Real Estate Summit, Sorn Seap, CEO of Key Real Estate Co., Ltd, and An Thida, Managing Director of CBRE Cambodia.

This upcoming event will mark the fifth hosting of the PropertyGuru Cambodia Property Awards, after receiving positive feedback evidenced by the continuous increase in the number of participants every year.

Jules Kay said in the press conference that the number of developers participating in the event in 2019 was double compared to 2018. Therefore, the firm is expecting more in 2020.

“Cambodia is one of the most potential markets for the real estate industry among all Southeast Asian nations. The fact that Cambodia is participating in the PropertyGuru Property Awards can also help local development developers gain more recognition,” said Mr Kay.
