New elephant roundtable to be built in Pursat

Pursat Provincial Administration plans to rebuild the elephant roundabout at the intersection of NR55 and NR10 in Bramoy commune of Veal Veng district.

505 elephants statue will be built at the roundabout to symbolise the Veal Veng district and attract tourists.

The elephant represents the beauty of the rainforest, strong solidarity, and loyalty to the nation.

From the roundabout, if you turn right, you will reach many attractive tourist sites in Kraper Pie commune.  If you turn left, you will get to O’Som commune, which has a natural tourist area, and if you go straight for about 30 km, you will cross a spectacular view of “Bopha Leak Kloun” or 1500 mountains which leads you to the Cambodian-Thai border, Thmor Da commune.
