The Siem Reap Provincial Administration has begun the construction of the Siem Reap River Renovation Phase 2 (KHM-18) to prevent flooding in Siem Reap during the rainy season under a concessional loan from the Export-Import Bank of the Republic of Korea.

KHM-18 project is being renovated by Youngjin Construction Inc, starting from the bridge of the beltway to the Aranh Village with a length of 5 km.

In November 2020, the US$5 million remaining budget from the 34-road restoration project in Sihanoukville was used for the renovation of 9km of sidewalk along Siem Reap River. (Read more)
