Tbong Khmum Officially Opens Cambodia-Vietnam Border Market

The Tbong Khmum Provincial Administration will officially reopen the Cambodia-Vietnam Border Market known as Phsar Dar from 16 November onwards after being closed due to the pandemic after the inauguration since December 2019.

According to the announcement dated 10 November 2021, anyone who wishes to do business in the market can apply to the Market Management Secretariat at the Provincial Department of Commerce or contact 092 548 328/088 7474 256.

This market is the first Cambodia border market and has been built on over 2 hectares of land in a special economic zone in Tbong Khmum province’s Memot district using a US$2-million budget from the Vietnamese government.

The market is suited about 300 metres away from the border to Tay Ninh province. (Read more)
