The Gov’t approves 12 New Factories Worth US$66.60 Million Set to Transform Five Cambodian Provinces

The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has granted approval to 12 ambitious companies to construct new factories with a combined investment of US$66.60 million. This visionary move is expected to generate 12,610 employment opportunities across five provinces, breathing fresh life into Cambodia’s industrial landscape.

The CDC’s announcement on October 31, 2023, showcased the remarkable projects in detail:

  1. WP SPORTS (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD.: An investment of US$7.2 million will establish a state-of-the-art sports equipment factory in Bavet city, Svay Rieng province, generating 1,750 jobs.
  2. SHCA GARMENT (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD.: A US$6 million investment will see the creation of a garment factory in Kampong Speu province, offering 1,651 job opportunities.
  3. ZHENSEN SHOES (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD.: With an investment of US$5.8 million, a shoe factory in Kampong Speu province is set to provide 1,538 jobs.
  4. NAN TONG TONG SHENG FOOTWEAR CO., LTD.: Investing US$5.5 million in National Road 4, Kampong Speu Province, this versatile factory will create 738 employment opportunities.
  5. JIN LU YUAN ENERGY ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION INDUSTRY CO., LTD.: A US$5.5 million investment in Kampong Speu province will lead to a laundry factory, generating 430 jobs.
  6. HYPER HOPE NUTRITION (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD.: With an investment of US$5.4 million, an animal feed factory in Kandal Province will provide 191 job openings.
  7. LUMINOUS CLOUD HOME DECOR CO., LTD.: Investing US$5.4 million, a lamp factory in Takeo province will offer 345 job opportunities.
  8. YUAN ZHENG COATING MATERIAL (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD.: With a US$5.2 million investment, a paint factory in Kampong Speu province will generate 66 jobs.
  9. JIAN QUAN XING ENTERPRISE CO., LTD.: An investment of US$5.2 million will lead to a shoe and footwear factory in Phnom Penh, creating 968 jobs.
  10. SUNDLY CLOTHING INTERNATIONAL (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD.: With a US$5.2 million investment, a garment factory in Kampong Speu province will provide 1,402 job opportunities.
  11. HAOLIDA (CAMBODIA) FASHION CO., LTD.: A US$5.2 million investment will establish a garment factory in Kandal Province, creating 1,781 jobs.
  12. ANYU (CAMBODIA) BAGS CO., LTD.: Investing US$5 million, a versatile bag factory in Kampong Speu province will offer 1,750 employment opportunities.
