Gov’t Establishes New Village “Bun Rany Sen Chey Damnak Troyeung” in Phnom Kravanh District, Pursat

The Ministry of Interior has officially established a new village named “Bun Rany Sen Chey Damnak Troyeung” in Pro’ngel commune, Phnom Kravanh district, Pursat province. This development, outlined in Prakas No. 6762, takes effect from 8 November 2024, underscoring the ministry’s commitment to the administrative organization.

This newly established village has been formed by separating territory from the existing Say village within the same commune and district. It marks an addition to Pursat province’s local framework following the ministry’s recent efforts to expand and improve administrative subdivisions.

In 2023, Pursat province saw the creation of 15 new villages across various districts, highlighting an ongoing approach to strengthen local communities and support regional growth. (Read more)

Parallel to these initiatives, the Ministry of Interior has established 29 new villages in Snuol district, Kratie province, and another 30 new villages in Kampong Cham province, indicating a comprehensive strategy for national village expansion and improved access to local governance.
