Gov’t Establishes 29 New Villages in Kratie Province

The Ministry of Interior has established 29 new villages in Kratie province’s Snuol district to facilitate local management and development. 

According to Prakas No. 6946, these new villages are taken from existing villages of some communes of Snuol district, including: 

– Dangrek village and Trapeang Chhouk village in Khum commune 

– Samaki village, Rovieng Chey village, O’Bob Rong village, Sambour Sen Chey village and O’Salong village in Svay Chres Commune 

– Chrey Maing village and Trapeang Sbek village in 2 Thnou commune 

– Phsar Snuol village, Rong Chak village, Krasaing village and Trapeang Lak village in Snuol commune 

– Anchanh village, Chi Pe village, Bat Heay village, Sre Char village, Daun Pok village, Daun Meas 1 village, Daun Meas 2 village, Daun Meas village and Otanhean 3 village in Sre Char commune 

– Sen Aphivath village, Kronhung 3 village, 104 village, O’Charcha Meanchey village, Ou Sen Chey village, Kar Buon Sen Chey village and Prem Prey village in Kronhung Sen Chey Commune 

The establishment of a new village aims to make management more effective and to bring public services closer to the locals. 

The government has also recently established 15 new villages in Pursat province. (Read more and more)
