Unveiling a Towering Marvel: Ministry of Industry’s 18-Storey Office Building Reaches 100% Completion

The architectural masterpiece that is the new 18-storey office building of the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology, and Innovation has reached a momentous milestone with its 100% completion. Nestled gracefully along Norodom Boulevard, this landmark structure stands tall as a testament to Cambodia’s progress and commitment to innovation.

In a moment of pride and celebration, the official handover ceremony on 25th July 2023 was graced by His Excellency Kitti Setha, Dr. Cham Prasidh, Senior Minister and Minister of Industry, Science, Technology, and Innovation. The event marked the fruition of a vision that has been diligently nurtured over the years.

Representing the construction company, Khun Sear Import Export Co., Ltd., Mr. Khun Seng Pheng shared the labor of love that went into creating this architectural marvel. “The new office building, spanning 18 floors, was opened on 12th December 2019, and after more than three years of dedicated craftsmanship, it stands as a testament to the unwavering commitment of our team and partners, Martin Design & Seksy Bill.”

Throughout the construction journey, the collaboration between the construction teams and the Ministry has been commendable, fostering a spirit of cooperation and understanding. The Ministry’s guidance and support have played a pivotal role in transforming the vision into a tangible reality.

The new office building boasts two car escalators, catering to the convenience of Ministry officials and staff. With space to accommodate up to 45 cars across the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors, efficient accessibility is assured.

As a unique touch, the allocation of floors and offices for the esteemed Secretary of State and Undersecretary of State was conducted through a lottery, epitomizing fairness and transparency in the allocation process.

This iconic addition to the city’s skyline not only signifies the Ministry’s expanding presence but also stands as an emblem of Cambodia’s continuous strides in the realms of industry, science, technology, and innovation.
