Two Kratie Province Roads Near Completion: Boosting Tourism and Transport

In exciting news for Kratie province, the long-awaited rehabilitation and upgrade of two major roads, totalling nearly 48.59 kilometres, are now 93% complete. This project, which extends from the roundabout in Preap (S) Kratie City to Sandan commune in Sambo district, is set to significantly enhance travel and transportation in the area.

According to the latest report from the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, these essential roads—Provincial Road No. 377, measuring 35.5 km, and Road 377A, extending 13.6 km from Sandan market to Sangkom village—are crucial for both locals and tourists alike. They will facilitate the efficient transport of goods and agricultural products and attract visitors to the stunning resorts along the east bank of the Mekong River.
