Turkish Investors Seek Investment Opportunities in Cambodia

Turkish investors are seeking opportunities in various sectors in Cambodia, while the construction sector has also been selected in the prioritised list, according to the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce.

The remarks were made during a Cambodia-Turkey Business Forum held virtually on 15 September.

The forum was jointly organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Cambodian Embassy in Turkey, the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, and the Industrialist, Businessmen and Businesswomen Confederation of Turkey (SANKO).

The construction sector is among the main areas that businessmen and panelists of both countries discussed and also expressed interest in exploring opportunities in agriculture, industry, textiles, information technology, health, energy, and tourism.

The forum concluded with fruitful results and the inputs obtained during the discussion will be used to organise future joint events to promote trade and investment in both countries.
