US$10-million Large-Scale Hospital Complex in Kandal 12% Complete

The construction of Techo Sen Koh Thom Hospital in Kandal’s Koh Thom district was 11.88% complete as of early February, according to the Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT)’s announcement on Thursday 10 February.

With ground broken on 7 January, the project is being built on an area of 1.3 hectares, with three new buildings, one three-storey central building and two two-storey left-right buildings.

The hospital can accommodate 150 beds, equipped with modern medical equipment.

The construction of this hospital is expected to cost a total of US$10 million and is scheduled for completion in December 2022. (Read more)

Upon completion, the hospital will be able to serve people living in Saang district, Koh Thom district, and Leuk Dek district in Kandal province as well as Prey Kabas district in Takeo province.
