A visionary and spiritual leader Guruji Kumaran Swami was quoted by the India Times saying the upcoming Lord Shiva shrine will be at 30 km from the biggest temple of Lord Vishnu in Angkor Wat.

With construction has already started on the foundation, Guruji Kumaran Swami said the idea is to have people who might be visiting Lord Vishnu’s shrine in Angkor, to visit the Lord Shiva shrine too.

Vaishnavite Hindus believed that one must visit the Hindu shrine one in a lifetime. This would help attract tourist and promote Hinduism.
