Samdech Techo Hun Sen Boulevard expanded at the intersection of St. 271

Samdech Techo Hun Sen Blvd (60-metre road) has been widened to its full size at the intersection of St. 271, Chramouh Chrouk Kbal Tnal Road, after completion of an impact study.

The impact study was a long process before a final settlement was reached with local citizens, as they finally accepted the development company’s offer.

The entrance to Samdech Techo Hun Sen Blvd was previously only 20 meters wide. So it made commuting difficult due to the regular traffic congestion. After the settlement, the 30m x 15m road was built with asphalt concrete to facilitate citizens’ transportation.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen Boulevard, also known as 60-meter road, was inaugurated on 3 April 2017 by Samdech Techo Hun Sen. The road has a total length of 9,169 meters and is 60 meters wide in total. It was constructed by ING Holding Co., Ltd, costing US$76 million. (Read more)

The boulevard crosses Choeung Ek and Boeng Tompon and connects to St. 271 at the corner of Chramouh Chrouk Kbal Tnal Road to National Road 2 at the Prek Kampues in Kandal province.
