New Road Connecting NR4 to Bokor Mountain Set to be Built Soon

A new 27-kilometre road connecting NR4 at km158 + 200 to Bokor Mountain is set to be built soon after two tycoons have agreed to cover the construction cost.

The agreement was made during the meeting between Okhna Sok Kong, Okhna Mong Reththy, and Minister of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction HE Chea Sophara on Tuesday 25 January.

“Following the order from PM Samdech Hun Sen on 18 December 2021, I have been dealing with the two Okhnas. Now, they have agreed to help construct the road,”

“Oknha Sok Kong will pay for the construction of the road, while Oknha Mong Reththy will help clear the land in the palm plantation,” he added.

The meeting did not disclose the timeline or the budget of the project but emphasised that through the cooperation between the two big tycoons, the road will come into existence very soon.
