MPWT Selecting One Among Three Designs for Chroy Chongvar–Svay Chrom Bridge

The Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT) is still choosing one among three proposed construction designs for the Chroy Changva-Svay Chrom Bridge that the South Korean team has just finalised and submitted to the ministry for review.

Minister of Public Works and Transport HE Sun Chanthol said on Wednesday 9 February that South Korea has submitted three different designs with different prices and the ministry is now examining them.

However, HE Sun Chanthol did not provide details or estimated costs of these three types.

HE Sun Chanthol also said in January that two alignments are being considered. (Read more)

The first one is to connect from the Water Supply Authority on Keo Chenda Street in Chroy Changvar district to Svay Chrum. Meanwhile, the other one is to connect from the Old Market to the Sokha Hotel area with one bridge and from Sokha hotel area to Arey Ksat with another bridge.
