Construction Begins on US$1-million Road in Memot

The Ministry of Rural Development has started construction on a 10-kilometer- long road in Chrey village, Tramoung commune, Memot district, Tbong Khmum province.

The ground-breaking ceremony was presided over by HE Ouk Rabun, Minister of Rural Development on 2 November.

This road is DBST and is being built by SP Multi Engineering and Development Co., Ltd. The construction will cost approximately US$1 million and the completion schedule is set for June 2023.

The construction project is part of the Rural Productivity Capacity Building Project (NRRPCP) under the support of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB).
