New Road Connecting Monivong Bokor National Park to NR4 Completed 100%

A new road connecting Monivong Bokor National Park to National Road No. 4 has been completed 100% as of 9 April 2023. According to the direct inspection of the construction site by Duke Dr. Sok Kong on 1 April 2023, the road with a total length of 61 km is expected to open soon.

The new road connects National Road No. 4 at km 158+200 to Bokor Mountain through the economic land concession of the oil palm plantation of Tycoon Mong Reththy. While the type of road has not yet been disclosed, the completion of the project marks an important milestone for the region.

The construction of the road was fully covered by Duke Sok Kong, with Duke Mong Reththy’s assistance in clearing palm trees to open the road.

The completion of the new road is expected to have a significant impact on the local economy, boosting tourism and providing greater access to the region’s natural resources. With the new road now open, visitors can look forward to exploring the stunning landscapes of Monivong Bokor National Park with ease. (Read more)
