The proposed road will span from Banlung City through Ta Veng District to Kantuy Neak, covering a distance of more than 166 kilometres and a width of 9 metres. The Cambodian government is currently working to secure the necessary funds for this significant infrastructure project.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen also recalled the assistance provided by the Royal Government of Vietnam in constructing NR 78, which connects Oyadao to Banlung. This international gateway has facilitated the export of goods from Cambodia to Vietnam, significantly reducing shipping distances and costs.
