The Gov’t continues to encourage 30 more stagnant projects worth USD590 million in Sihanoukville

The Investment Promotion Team in Sihanoukville has decided in principle to provide special incentives for 30 projects with a total investment of US $ 590 million that are stuck in Sihanoukville. This is according to the official Facebook page of the working group published on September 26, 2026.

The 30 projects include smelters and metal processing plants, packaging mills, leather processing plants, supermarkets, multifunctional buildings, hotels and restaurants.

It should be noted that after the announcement of the official implementation by the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia Hun Manet on January 31, 2024, the working group has already decided in principle to provide special incentives for 110 projects. By August 2024. (Read more)

There are a total of 140 projects that have received special incentives, including micro, small, medium and large projects of project owners and local and foreign companies covering all districts of Sihanoukville.
