With an average annual loan of approximately USD 360 million between 2019 and 2023, ADB’s latest initiative will focus on boosting private sector growth and fortifying climate resilience.

This collaboration is set to significantly impact key sectors, including agriculture, infrastructure, and education, aligning with the country’s strategic national development plan. These insights were discussed during a meeting held at the Battambang Pedagogical Institute on 26 September 2024, attended by over 100 representatives from both public and private sectors.

ADB’s support spans agriculture, natural resources, rural development, energy, finance, health, and urban infrastructure. The project aims to tackle emerging challenges by prioritizing inclusive growth, with stakeholders across Cambodia voicing their support for an approach that fosters long-term sustainability and climate adaptation.
