Tech Giant Bentley Systems Partners with CET to Revolutionize Engineering Education in India

Bentley Systems has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the College of Engineering Trivandrum (CET), aiming to transform one of Kerala’s premier institutions into a hub for digital infrastructure excellence, ensuring that the next generation of Indian engineers is equipped for a rapidly evolving global market.

Under this MoU, there will be the establishment of a state-of-the-art Centre of Infrastructure Innovation on the CET campus. This facility will serve as a dedicated space for:

  • Immersive Learning: Hands-on experience with industry-standard software like MicroStation, OpenRoads, and OpenFlows.
  • Advanced Tech Integration: Research into AI-powered asset management and digital twin technologies.
  • Sustainable Design: Developing workflows that prioritize green construction and efficient asset lifecycles.

This initiative is more than just a corporate-academic handshake; it is a strategic alignment with India’s Viksit Bharat 2047 vision. By providing students with structured learning modules and global certifications through the Bentley Education platform, the program aims to create a “future-ready” workforce capable of handling India’s massive infrastructure projects.

While Bentley Systems collaborates with universities worldwide, this specific partnership focuses on adapting global frameworks to meet local Indian needs, ensuring graduates possess a unique blend of international insight and regional expertise.
