Pursat also has two reservoirs, seven main canals, 172 sub-canals, and 863 canals that irrigate 97,701 hectares in the rainy season and 20,000 hectares in the dry season.

According to HE Khoy Rida, on 7 March 2023, “Pursat province has 33 large, medium, and small irrigation systems in operation out of a total of 51 systems, including seven large structures across the river and 390 works of art. There are five large places, 39 medium places, and five small places.”

In addition, the province has the third and fifth dams, which can hold 50 million cubic metres of water to supply irrigation and consumption along the Pursat River, especially for the Cardamom Mountain, Bakan district, Pursat city, and Kandeang district.
