Kampong Speu Prepares for Influx of 25 Chinese Factories by Year End

By the close of 2023 or early 2024 at the latest, Kampong Speu anticipates the establishment of 25 factories from Chinese investors seeking to establish a significant industrial foothold. This ambitious endeavour was unveiled through an official announcement on 15 August 2023, featured on the Facebook page of HE Vy Samnang, Governor of Kampong Speu Province.

A well-coordinated provincial delegation effectively showcased the province’s allure, positioning it as a compelling destination to attract visionary investors eager to catalyse business ventures.

These forthcoming factories hold the promise of generating a substantial surge in employment opportunities. An estimated 23,000 diligent workers are projected to find gainful employment across the array of industries that these factories will encompass.
