Cambodia and Poland Foster Bilateral Relations with Visa Exemption for Diplomatic Passport Holders

Cambodia and the Republic of Poland have solidified their diplomatic ties through the signing of an agreement that grants visa exemption to holders of diplomatic passports. This landmark agreement, highlighted in a press release by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation on 25th May 2023, underscores the commitment of both nations to strengthen their bilateral relations.

During the discussions, the two sides expressed their shared vision for collaboration across various domains, including cooperation between their respective Ministries of Foreign Affairs, parliamentary exchanges, and partnership between regional organizations such as ASEAN and the European Union. Moreover, they recognized the potential for mutually beneficial cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, agriculture, education, culture, and more.

To bolster these collaborations, the participating parties emphasized the need for relevant authorities to collaborate in establishing legal frameworks and organizing investment and business forums. These initiatives aim to foster active engagement from the private sector, encouraging robust participation and facilitating mutually beneficial opportunities.

It is worth mentioning that Cambodia has previously introduced an investor-friendly program aimed at attracting foreign investment. This program grants visas allowing investors to stay in the country for up to 10 years, accompanied by a range of benefits. This serves as a testament to Cambodia’s commitment to creating an enabling environment for foreign investors, stimulating economic growth, and fostering a thriving real estate market. (Read more)
