Cambodia Sees Impressive USD 30 Million in Ticket Sales from Iconic Tourist Destinations in 2025

Angkor Foundation revealed that Cambodia has generated nearly USD 30 million from ticket sales in just the first seven months of 2025. This impressive revenue, amounting to USD 29,822,758, comes from visitors flocking to the country’s renowned historical sites, including the magnificent Angkor Temple Complex, Koh Ker Temple, Beng Melea Temple, Phnom Kbal Spean, and boat services at Chong Khneas Port.

According to the foundation’s report, a total of 618,771 foreign tourists purchased tickets to explore Angkor, contributing USD 28,643,407 to the local economy. This marks a notable increase of 5.39% compared to the same period last year.

July alone saw 51,098 foreign visitors purchasing tickets for Angkor, generating USD 2,327,186 despite a downturn of 17.47% compared to July 2024. In addition to Angkor, the foundation earned USD 1,179,351 from ticket sales to other popular sites, underscoring the diverse appeal of Cambodia’s cultural treasures.

To enhance the visitor experience and promote the country’s rich cultural heritage and stunning landscapes, the Cambodian government and the Angkor Foundation have implemented strategic initiatives aimed at attracting international travelers.
