CDC Approves Two Construction Materials Factories Worth Over US$11million

The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has recently permitted two private firms to invest over US$11 million building two construction material factories in Sihanoukville and Svay Rieng provinces.

The first project is a metal processing factory in the Sihanoukville special economic zone. The construction of the factory costs approximately US$5.2 million, invested in by Cambodian New Juihan Trading Co., Ltd.

Meanwhile, the second project is s US$6.9-million lighting components factory in Hi-Park special economic zone of Svay Rieng province, invested in by Pinnacle Home Collection Co., Ltd.

Both projects will help create a total of 330 jobs for local people.

CDC has also recently approved the Blissful Capital Co., Ltd. to establish a new business centre project worth approximately US$9.5 million along National Road 2, south of Phnom Penh. (Read more)
