Construction of National Construction Laboratory 80% Complete

To date, the construction of the National Construction Laboratory located in the premises of the new Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction (MLMUPC) in Sen Sok district has been 80% completed.

This is according to the meeting between MLMUPC Minister HE Chea Sophara and President of JICA in Cambodia Ms Kamei Haruko on 16 December.

HE Chea Sophara informed the JICA delegation that the construction process of the National Construction Laboratory is going smoothly as there is always significant support from JICA.

In response, Kamei Haruko also expressed her admiration for this magnificent architecture.

With ground broken in July this year, the project is being constructed as a two-storey building and divided into three sections. Upon completion, the laboratory will be used as a general research centre, to conduct construction experiments, as well as construction equipment and product testing.
