MPWT plans to build a large wastewater treatment system in Kampong Spue

The Ministry of Public Works and Transport is collaborating with BUCG to study the feasibility of establishing another large wastewater treatment system project in Chbar Morn City, Kampong Speu Province. This is according to the meeting of the Ministry of Public Works and all stakeholders on January 10, 2023.

HE Ros Vanna, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, said that the purpose of the wastewater treatment system project in Chbar Morn City, Kampong Speu Province is to improve the wastewater treatment system and stop the discharge of wastewater directly into the river to contribute. To improve sanitation for the people through the establishment of wastewater treatment plants.

HE also advised BUCG to continue to cooperate with the professional working group and technical officers of the Ministry to complete the information in detail to study the project to be able to implement it.

It should be noted that BUCG, a company with many years of experience in Cambodia, has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Techo Sen Institute of Public Works and Transport of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport to promote mutual support in relation to education and research. As well as various program projects based on the principles of consultation, unity, equity, justice and mutual benefit, as well as the provision of teachers, training programs in the field of wastewater treatment systems, and construction of roads and bridges in the city. And so on.

Currently, BUCG, a large construction enterprise of the State of the People’s Republic of China, is also studying the development of a wastewater treatment system project in Chbar Morn City, Kampong Speu Province.
