Unveiling New Kampong Speu Provincial Hall, a US$10 Million Architectural Triumph

A momentous event unfolded in Kampong Speu as the new provincial hall, worth over US$10 million, was officially inaugurated. The auspicious occasion was presided over by Samdech Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, on 30 October 2023.

HE Vy Samnang, Governor of Kampong Speu Province, proudly shared details about the stunning administrative building. Sprawling across an impressive 18,078.17 square meters, the edifice boasts a total construction area of 12,526 square meters.

This architectural gem, with its three-story height, stands as a testament to the province’s progress. Notably, it was meticulously erected in 2017, utilizing the provincial administration’s budget.

The new provincial hall is more than just an administrative hub; it is a work of art, designed as an exhibition building. Crafted with luxurious wood and glass, it is elegantly furnished with exquisite furniture. The infrastructure surrounding the provincial hall is a masterpiece in itself, featuring pristine straight lines, an efficient drainage system, a well-laid corrugated iron floor, and an exquisitely landscaped fire garden.
