Sun & Moon Launches Second Luxury Hotel in Capital

SUN & MOON, Urban Hotel

A luxury four-star hotel, the “SUN & MOON, The Light” has begun construction and is expected to be finished by the end of 2019, bringing a whole new lifestyle for its customer, according to the press release.

A well-known hospitality company, SUN & MOON Company Limited has officially announced the construction of its new 126-key hotel covering a total area of 17,000 square metres located along Norodom Blvd in SangkatTonle Bassac, Khan Chamkamorn, Phnom Penh.

With an aim to fulfill its motto of “Stay. Inspired”, the company hopes to create a modern wave of experiential travel built on innovation, technology, dynamic environments, according to General Manager, Noel O Furrer.

The new hotel comprises of a multi-function conference venue which can accommodate up to 480 guests, an outdoor garden bar, spa & gym, restaurant & bar, and a space for leasing offices with multiple functions for business and meeting facilities.

Designed by the Vietnam-based design firm, Adrien Desport Architects (ADA), the building takes the form of two parallel hotel towers with two different facades designed to take inspiration from its name of SUN and MOON. Adding to that, the hotel also has a large garden terrace with a 25-metre pool as well as other facilities.

The development of “SUN & MOON, The Light” is aimed at responding to the increasing needs and wants from global travelers for modern and international standard services.

Currently, the company is the operator of the SUN & MOON, Urban Hotel which is ranked as excellent on Tripadvisor and has also received many prizes.
